Tennis Dynamics Wins Bid For Laurel Park Tennis Center. Tennis Dynamics is proud to take over management of this great facility. Things are already underway and we have big plans in the future including new activities, round robins, tournaments and more.

We are now joining forces with Ryan Hansell and Shannon Van Wyck of Complex Fitness and Performance of Marietta, GA.

Life University Lecture Series featuring Loren Seagraves. Tennis Dynamics is attending the LUSSI Elite Athlete Lecture Series at Life University. This lecture series is part of the Life University's Sports Health Science programing. Top coaches, physical therapists, athletic trainers and other sports professionals from all over the world are participating. The common theme is the "Unifying Principles of Speed". Many of the presentations will focus on the science behind speed training and will also address the practical aspects of maximum velocity, acceleration and and multi-directional movement.

Tennis Dynamics and ECST approved by the Tennis Industry Association to be official  Cardio Tennis site.
Tennis Dynamics will be holding two free Cardio Tennis sessions. The first is on Monday, November the 17th from  7:15 p.m. until 8:15 p.m. and the second is on Monday the 24th of November. We will begin a regularly scheduled Cardio Tennis class some time in early December.  Tennis Dynamics has joined with Real Resultz Fitness in order to offer these classes.

Terry Billings takes Head Tennis Professional Job at Indian Hills Country Club
Terry Billings has moved on to full-time employment as the Head Tennis Professional with the Indian Hills Country Club in Marietta, Ga. We are truly sorry to see him leave and we hope him the best in his new endeavor. We will miss his fun teaching style and great sense of humor.

Susan Fulkerson/Juice Plus Scholarship
Byron Batchelor was the winner of the Susan Fulkerson/Juice Plus scholarship to Chuck Kriese's 2008 Clemson Tennis Camp. Byron Batchelor was chosen by the coaches at the “Tennis for the Cure” day to be awarded the scholarship. Congratulations to Byron Batchelor for being awarded the scholarship.

Teachings and Lessons

I often read many instructions or lessons on how to hit the tennis ball which I believe can only work consistently by accident. Many of the instructors who watch the modern game will try to develop their students by using what they see pro level players doing on the court in the midst of improvising through a match. I agree with the great player Sandy Mayer who says "there is an enormous gap between what these pro's do and what you can learn from them".

Nothing I teach or speak of in the "Teachings and Lessons" section comes from the latest fad in tennis. Anything I mention in this section has been tried, tested and proven to be successful over time. So please take a look once a month at the "Teachings and Lessons" section of the Tennis Dynamics website.
